Fantasy Thriller author. Musician. Web Developer. Really?

While it might be a strange mix, the daily grind of coding several languages can squelch the creativity. That’s why the music and words are so important to me. Important enough that I created this site to help create new opportunities for other writers. And for myself, of course.

I spent three years as co-host of the popular role-playing gamers podcast, Dragon’s Landing, where Chuck and I would treat the games to the stories they deserved. We helped other gamers find ways to create richer role-playing experiences in their games through the use of story-based idioms.

During that time, I finished up my debut novel, Daughter of the Sun and a d20 gaming supplement, Dream Healers.

Since then, I’ve taken my life-long interest in music and joined a Pirate-themed band, Capt’n Black’s Sea Dogs where we get to keep traditional sea shanties alive and also create new music that mixes that tradition with modern instrumentation.

When it comes to writing, my favorite genres have always been fantasy and thrillers of all sorts (spy, supernatural, etc). In my writing, I often combine both of them to create a fast-paced fantasy that strives to keep you reading long into the wee hours of the morning.

Samuel Z Jones Apparently they tried to sign up, but the activation e-mail they received was blank, so they couldn't log in. That's all I know. 2 yearss ago

Lonnie Ezell That was enough. Got that fixed so it shouldn't happen to anyone else, as well as activated her. Tell her it's her yahoo address that is on the site, not her gmail one.

Samuel Z Jones Just read the Latest Changes post in the blog; all god stuff, Lonnie. You know I think this is a great site; the old comments system is about the only thing I'd highlight as needing improvement. Most important though is getting more traffic; with a bit of publicity effort from everyone here, and a little time for the publishing market to catch up with the new technology, the traffic through here could hit the thousands, which is what we really need. 1 years ago
